Buckeye Broadband’s philanthropic strategy focuses on education, economic development, health and human services, and the arts in our area. Beyond that, we work to encompass important goals that will bring accessibility, diversity and inclusion, and investment in local youth, to the forefront of our philanthropic efforts.
As a general rule, Buckeye Broadband considers requests from organizations that have received 501(c) (3) tax exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service and which are not classified as private foundations under the Internal Revenue Code 509.
To be considered, you must complete the online application.
Requests by email will be required to fill out the digital submission form above, in order to be considered. No phone calls please. All submissions must be reviewed and approved by our Buckeye Broadband Contribution Committee.
Giving decisions are made by Buckeye Broadband’s Contribution Committee at monthly meetings. Requests must be received at least 60 days prior to your “funding request date”. Please note that organizations granted funding will not be considered for any additional requests until the following calendar year.
Applications without a completed application may not be considered until all material is provided. Additional information may be requested, such as past, current and future financial or budgetary information, donor information, or other pertinent material. All committee reviews and decisions will be sent by email.
All contributions are subject to a post-program review and/or evaluation, at the discretion of Buckeye Broadband. Questions can be directed to Kim Finch, Manager of Community Engagement and Events at communityrelations@buckeyebroadband.com.
