OnePass gathers every episode of a series and adds them all right to your My Shows list. If an episode isn't available to record, OnePass shows you episodes available to watch instantly from Live, On Demand, Netflix, and more.
OnePass looks not just at the scheduled programs on the channels you receive, but also the different streaming and Video On Demand services that are available on the TiVo. While it can display the availability of programs on all services, you can only access those you subscribe to.
OnePass can do more than just find shows for you; it also allows you to create intelligent recording schedules that ensure you never miss the shows you care about. OnePass can also create genre or keyword searches that find programs you might be interested in.
For example a OnePass created for “Sherlock Holmes” would find the award winning BBC drama (Benedict Cumberbatch), past classics, the movie starring Robert Downey Jr., as well as documentaries about the author or shows. Anything that includes “Sherlock Holmes” would find its way intelligently to your “My Shows” folder.
Additional Recording Options:
- Include: Choose between Recordings & streaming videos, Recordings only, or Streaming videos only.
- Start from: Options include First available season or New episodes only. You can also choose to start recording at any season number (in case you already have the first two seasons of your favorite show on DVD).
- Rent or buy: Tell the TiVo device if you want to see purchasable streaming content. Choose between Include and Don't Include.
- Get in HD: HD programs are much sharper looking but take up more recording space. Choose to get in HD Always, If possible, or Never. With If possible, the DVR will prioritize HD recordings over SD recordings.
