Q: What cell towers/mobile network are you using?
A: MaxxMobile runs on a reliable nationwide network. It has 5G coverage, though actual 5G availability, coverage, and speed may vary. 5G is not available in all areas and a 5G capable device is required.

Q: Do I have 5G service?
A: No. 5G is not currently available in our area.

Q: What is a SIM card?
A: A SIM card, also known as a subscriber identity module, is a smart card that stores identification information that pinpoints a smartphone to a specific mobile network.

Q: What is an eSIM card?
A: An eSIM card is an industry standard digital SIM card that allows you to activate a mobile phone without without having to use a physical SIM card.

Q: What is an IMEI?
A: An IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number is a unique 15- to 17-digit number that identifies a mobile device.

Q: How can I find my IMEI?
A: On many (but not all) phones, enter *#06# on your number pad.

Q: How long is the porting process?
A: If all information is obtained, the process can be instantaneous. However, it can take up to 24 hours, depending on the response rate of the previous carrier.

Q: Can my cell phone be used as a hotspot with MaxxMobile?
A: Yes. 5 Gig of your 20 Gig plan can be used as a hotspot.

Q: How many lines are supported on each mobile account?
A: Up to six (6) lines per account. Primary line must be active prior to activation of additional lines.

Q: How does international calling or international roaming work?
International calling and international roaming are not available at this time.

Q: Do you offer mobile phones?
A: Yes. Phones are not available in our retail stores, however they may be purchased online at http://maxxmobile.net/.

Q: Can I get MaxxMobile if I only subscribe to the BCSN+ app?
A: No. You must be an Internet, TV, or Home Phone subscriber to be eligible to purchase MaxxMobile.
