Latency is the delay before data transfer starts, measured in milliseconds (ms). It indicates how quickly data travels between your device and a server.

Ping measures the round-trip time for data packets from your device to a server and back. It gauges the responsiveness of your connection.

Speed test results can differ from your actual internet speed for several reasons:
Network congestion can slow down your connection, especially during peak usage times. 

The location of the server you are testing against can also affect results; nearby servers may show faster speeds compared to more distant ones.

Additionally, the performance of your device plays a role; older or slower devices might not be able to achieve the same speeds as newer ones.

The number of devices connected to your network can also impact speed, as more devices share the available bandwidth. 

Download speed refers to how quickly data from the internet can be downloaded to your device, while upload speed measures how quickly data from your device can be uploaded to the internet.

Factors include network congestion, distance to servers, number of connected devices, your device's performance, and the quality of your modem/router.
