It's time for one of the most beloved traditions of the season: Freeform's 31 Nights of Halloween.

It's 2023, and we still don't have flying cars. But the world does have a ton of great, sci-fi shows.

Especially when it comes to famous science fiction movies or favorite TV shows from the past, often audiences have noticed real-life events, gadgets, and gizmos coming into reality long after these images were released.

Given all of today's technology and the addition of costly CGI effects in many of our current movies, budgets are busting when it comes to making films nowadays. There are also growing salaries being demanded with the hottest celebrities.

During difficult times when budgets are stretched to their limits, if possible, it's good not to trim entertainment out of this monetary equation.
